To create this still life I was inspired by amazing fresh gooseberry, which is so unfairly rare art object in painting. This time I decided to experiment with round canvas format. It plays a role of round plate in my plan, to avoid a dish depicting itself. The variety of berries - blackberries, gooseberries, raspberries and blueberries has a free, chaotic composition. The wonderful blue pattern of the plate breaks the fixed circle of the canvas. I enjoyed the process of fine detailed painting, purposed to achieve a maximum tangible realistic effect.
