Poppies are definitely one of my favorite flowers. I suffering they fade so quick after picking up and I almost have no chance to paint them. The Poppy I painted this time is some kind of enormous Poppies, I discovered in Germany. The flower itself has a size of the big plate and looks really impressive. Tender and thin petals have corrugated structure and wonderful warm orange color. The grassy green core highlights and complement to it.

The other flowers have still closed bud, just started to bloom. We can see the delicate pink-white color of petals, looked out under the green peel.
