To paint this miniature still life I was inspired by the fallen petals of the amazing pink rose. The form of the flower was destroyed, but the fragile beauty of petals became even more touching and pretty. Especially I like the shimmering texture of petals, with sparkles of water drops on it. The blue pattern of the saucer and light pink tones of the rose make the fine color harmony. The painting in generally made using pearl, light pastel shades, and could perfectly harmonize with any interior.
