This amazing flowers I picked on the field not far off my house, in Stuttgart. Unfortunately, cut tulips never keeps long, so I had a little time to paint them.
This fast sketch I painted using carmine, deep red and purple colors. For background I chose light blue tone of pure sky. I used a middle size brush and didn't concentrate attention on details. The brush tip gives a good opportunity to draw thin edges of petals and in the same time richly saturated brush stroke with paint and depict the facture of flower.
