I made this sunset seascape on the beach of one of the most picturesque cities of the Cote d'Azur (Italian Riviera, along the coast in Italy). Sestri Levante, next to Geneva, is famous for its stunning sea views. Most of all, I was inspired by the evening sky stretching over the sea, the clouds illuminated with the last rays of the setting sun. The dark silhouette of the rocky coast crashes into the sea, contrasting with the yellowish glow of the sky. In this scene, imagine restless waves noisily crashing against the shore and dragging pebbles into the sea to immediately spit them out onto the beach. It is only a few moments until the sun will hide behind the horizon, muffling the bright colors of the Ligurian sea until the next morning.
