At some point, I discovered that I have a very perfect lighting in the bathroom thanks to a totally white color of the whole surfaces. Therefore I arrange many of my still lifes exactly on the bathroom shelf. I have a series of works with a ceramic patterned bowl and flowers arranged on the white tile background. I'm really inspired by combination of dark blue and saturated yellow, so the yellow narcissus perfectly fit in this arrangment. I used watercolor in a quite classic realistic technique. The only detail I risked to experiment with is a ceramic bowl, that flows in some sense into the flowers, destroying the space of image. Working on this painting I let myself not to imagine for sure how it will look at the end, and rely on intuition.
