I composed this bright and colorful still life using wonderful English plate and emerald green tablecloth. Saturated orange color of fruits perfectly harmonized with blue pattern and green drapery. Juicy slices of clementines shimmering on the light, teasing with intense flavor, lay next to whole one. I used the rich palette of orange tones from greenish to yellowish to show the beauty of fruits. I tried to interpret classic traditional still life in modern perusal.
